And more assistive typing options.
Punctuation
After a punctuation mark (‘.’, ‘'!’, ‘?’) the next word will be capitalized automatically. If a word is inserted, a space is automatically added. If you then type a punctuation mark, the space will be automatically adjusted. The space in front of the punctuation mark will be deleted and placed behind it.
Use recency of words while predicting
Skippy can keep track of the recent use of words. When a word (e.g. ‘football’) is frequently used in one and the same text, the chance that this word will be used again is big. With this option, recent words appear sooner than others.
Track position in text
The prediction list can follow the position of the cursor in the text. This can speed up the view on the predictions and consequently also typing since you can avoid having to change your focus. You can change the horizontal and vertical distance between the list and the cursor. Skippy will always try to position the list so that it remains visible.
Listen to the suggestions,
If you dispose of Eurovocs DocReader, you can hear the prediction you point at.
Dwelling
Skippy will automatically select the prediction the mouse pointer is on after the expiration of a certain period of time.
