Speech is an essential form of communication. Not being able to speak is a major barrier to social integration. Using a Tellus people with a communication disability can overcome this obstacle. They can resume contact with friends and family and are no longer dependent on others to make their wishes known.

Tellus 3+ is the next step in the world of communication platforms. The clear high resolution screen can be equiped with 3 different touch screen versions: finger touch, fingernail touch for users who want to rest with their hands on the screen, or operation with active pen only. This last version is intended for users that use switches or a joystick.

Switches and joystick can be connected directly to the Tellus. The Tellus has the option for an infrared remote control system (GewaLinked).

A lot of effort was invested in the casing of the new Tellus 3+. Not only is the front water resistant, but the design assures an optimal sound quality and a robust protection for the internal computer platform. Connections like USB, FireWire and PCMCIA are on the side of the Tellus. The casing is available in a red or blue color.

The DaeSSy quick-release mounting system can be extended with a battery holder for an external battery. This makes sure you have enough battery life if the Tellus is not connected to the battery of the wheelchair.
