Woodpecker is a hardware interface for alternative input with Mind Express™, KeyVit (Eurovocs Suite), WoodSoft and JoyMove. Woodpecker has to be connected with the serial port and can be used with 1 or 2 switches or with a joystick.

In combination with KeyVit, the software keyboard and mouse control module of Eurovocs Suite, the computer becomes accessible with 1 or 2 switches or with a joystick. KeyVit allows you to type text in any program, but also mouse control, drag and drop, and access to the start menu becomes possible.

Mind Express™ and Woodpecker are a perfect combination for people who are restricted to 1 or 2 switch scanning. Choose the best scanning algorithm according to the possibilities of the user.

WoodPecker is delivered with two programs: Woodsoft and JoyMove. With WoodSoft, you can make action-reaction games or exercises. Pressing a switch can bring up a picture, play a sound or launch another program

With JoyMove, a user can move the mouse cursor on the screen using a joystick connected to the WoodPecker interface. Moving the joystick in the desired direction will move the mouse cursor in that same direction.
